On November 16, 2025, the 3rd Baoshan Shuangxue and Shuangcun Forum successfully concluded in Baoshan Village, Longmenshan Town, Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province. Themed "Shuang Industry Development and Shuang Product Planning," the forum gathered nearly 100 experts, scholars, and rural practitioners from across the country to discuss how to transform the concept of "Shuangxue" into practical momentum for rural development.

The venue of this forum, Baoshan Village, had just received an important honor: in the newly released 2024/2025 Village Impact (CPPC Index) research results, Baoshan Village ranked tenth in the "CPPC Index Key Directory of Village Impact" and was rated as "Fuchun Mountain Residence, Longmen Treasure Land." This honor provided a vivid real-life example for the forum and also gave participants a more intuitive understanding of the theme of "Shuang Industry Development" for this forum.

During the forum, Professor Li Houqiang, Honorary Dean of the Sichuan Baoshan Shuangxue Research Institute, delivered a keynote speech titled "Shuang Industry Development and Shuang Product Development," systematically explaining the practical path of the "Shuang Economy" from a theoretical perspective.

Jia Qing, Secretary of the Party Committee of Baoshan Village, shared how Baoshan integrated the concept of "Shuang" into industrial planning, environmental construction, and tourism experience, gradually embarking on a path of rural revitalization characterized by "Shuang.".

As a forum focusing on practice, participants not only engaged in art performances and academic exchanges, but also visited the B&B clusters, camping bases, and natural scenic spots in Baoshan Village, experiencing the construction achievements of the "Shuang Village" firsthand. From parent-child research product design to rural smart services, from ecological resource development to climate environment optimization, the forum topics covered multiple key dimensions of the "Shuang Industry".

In recent years, Baoshan Village has been promoting the integrated development of culture, commerce, tourism, sports, and health with "Shuang" as the core. The holding of this forum and the attainment of CPPC index honors have further enhanced the brand influence of "Comfortable Sichuan, Shuang in Baoshan", and provided a useful reference for rural areas across the country to rely on local characteristics to achieve revitalization.
